AF3 Lighting & T3 Stand Guide

Use this overview alongside the instructions supplied with your AF3 flashlight and, if purchased, your T3 stand. It covers the listed light modes, mounting choices and package differences.

Confirm which package you have

  • AF3 Flashlight: the light for handheld and compact campsite use.
  • AF3 with Mounting Kit: the light plus a vacuum suction cup, magnetic base and magic arm.
  • AF3 + T3: one AF3 and one T3 stand, including the stand's lantern hook and flashlight clamp. The separate Mounting Kit is not included.

Compare contents in the AF3 package guide before assuming a particular accessory is included.

Choose a light mode for the task

The front light offers spotlight, floodlight or both; the warm rear lantern offers three brightness levels. Red steady and flashing modes add signaling options. Follow the supplied instructions for the control sequence.

The listed outputs are up to 5,000 lumens at the front and 800 lumens at the rear. These are peak outputs, not guaranteed constant output over the entire runtime. Brightness setting, mode and conditions affect runtime; this guide does not provide a mode-by-mode runtime test.

Position AF3 without a tall stand

The listed hands-free options are the included mini tripod, hanging loop, magnetic base on a compatible metal surface and 1/4-inch mount. Check balance and attachment for the chosen position. The separate Mounting Kit provides a suction cup and adjustable arm for a suitable surface.

If you have the T3 stand

T3 provides a folding tripod, lantern hook and flashlight clamp. Its tripod feet have stake holes, and its base stake is reversible for suitable ground. Follow the stand's assembly instructions, choose a suitable position and use the securing points as appropriate. Check the light's attachment and the stand's balance before use.

The stand and the suction-based Mounting Kit serve different mounting needs. A T3 package does not include the separate Mounting Kit.

Battery, charging and water protection

AF3 has a built-in 5,000 mAh battery and USB-C charging. Keep charging connections dry and follow the product instructions. IP65 describes dust protection and water-jet protection; it is not an immersion rating.

If your light or mount is not working as expected

Check the selected mode, brightness level, battery charge and whether the accessory matches your package. For a mounting question, provide the mounting surface and photos. If you need the control instructions or help with a suspected fault, email contact@camperig.com with the model and order details.
