A little more awareness. Wherever you camp.
Four compact sensors watch for movement around your tent, campsite or parked vehicle. Keep the receiver close and get an early warning when a sensor detects activity.
One portable kit, ready to move with your next camp.
4 sensors
Place them where you need awareness.
120°
Detection angle per sensor.
Up to 328 ft
Sensor-to-receiver link in open areas (100 m).
3 range levels
Adjust each sensor for its position.

Choose the range around you.
24 GHz mmWave radar detects movement within a 120° sensing angle. Select a range for each sensor: about 3 ft, 10–16 ft or 26–33 ft (1 m, 3–5 m or 8–10 m).
Use a shorter setting near an entrance, or a longer setting for a more open approach. Check detection at each position before settling in.

An alert, right where you are.
The receiver brings alerts from all four sensors together, with sound and vibration options. Keep it nearby in your tent or vehicle while the sensors watch the areas you have chosen.
The Sub-1G wireless link reaches up to 328 ft (100 m) in open areas. This is the communication distance, not the motion-detection range.

Wrap it. Mount it. Make it fit.
Use the four included flexible stands around tent poles or tree branches. Each sensor also has a magnetic base for suitable steel surfaces and a standard 1/4-inch thread for a compatible mount.
Place the sensors securely, aim them toward the area you want to monitor, and keep the sensing face clear.

Put them away. Power them up.
Return the sensors to the receiver to store and recharge them together. The compact kit packs into its carry case for the next stop.
Listed battery life is approximately 30 hours of continuous use per charge. Actual runtime depends on use and settings.
Set up your camp. Then check your coverage.

Frequently asked questions
How far can I place a sensor from the receiver?
The wireless link reaches up to 328 ft (100 m) in open areas. This is separate from the sensing distance, which can be set to 1 m, 3–5 m or 8–10 m. Terrain and obstacles can reduce the wireless range.
Can each sensor use a different detection range?
Yes. Adjust each sensor individually to suit its location, then walk-test that area to confirm coverage.
Can I attach a sensor to my vehicle?
Yes. Each sensor has a magnetic base for a suitable steel surface. For other positions, use the 1/4-inch thread with a compatible mount or the included flexible stands.
Can I use it indoors?
Yes. Sensors can monitor an area near a door or window while traveling, as described in the original Kickstarter FAQ. Check the position and test the alert before use.
How do the sensors recharge?
Place the sensors back in the receiver / charging case. A USB-C charging cable is included with the kit.
Are the sensors weather-resistant?
The sensors are rated IPX5. This rating does not apply to the receiver; keep it dry and protected. Do not submerge the sensors.
Does it guarantee campsite security?
Outdoor Guardians provides motion alerts to support your awareness. It cannot prevent an intrusion or guarantee that every movement will be detected. Placement and a walk-test help you check the coverage at each campsite.
